ABOUT_
The game of baseball has been intertwined with the City of Louisville since near its founding in 1878 with what is now the Miner's Field grounds being used for such activity by 1890. More information detailed information related to these early days can be found in the following article.

With the inception of organized youth baseball, Little League, in 1939 the program grew in popularity and spread to the west so quickly that by 1958 Colorado had its first Little League State Champion, North Boulder Little League, as reported on the following website.

The first little league sanctioned program used by Louisville residents was Centaurus Little League in 1988. With the population swell in Superior during the mid to late 90's it lead to Monarch Little League splitting off from Centaurus with its charter beginning in 2001. Likewise, with the swell in population in the Lafayette and Erie areas during the 2000's Centaurus was aptly renamed in 2011 as Coal Creek Little League.

Monarch then added a softball program to the foray in 2010 to better serve this need in the area.

So be proud as we carry on the baseball and softball tradition in the Louisville and Superior areas as the Monarch Little League Coyotes (Little League ID #91792)!
